Once again, it's time for me to raise money for my HOORAY FOR BOOBIES! team in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Central Park.

If all of you donate $10 I will reach my goal, which is $1000 for every year I've been cancer free for a total of $3500.

PLEASE help me by donating at the link above.

Thank you!

J

Jenny Saldaña was only 34 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and during her treatment, the feisty West Sider wrote a "touching, yet funny" play to tell others about the younger face of the disease - and her own happy ending.

When I discovered that I had been diagnosed, it was a relief. I spent a lot of time trying to be diagnosed but because of my age several doctors ignored me. So once I found out, I was relieved a little bit, and after that, I had this mentality that I wanted to get to the other side. Everything was to get to the other side. I was in a hurry to finish my treatment. I was in a rush to graduate to get to the other side, and once I got there I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how to react and it has been a battle.

Jenny Saldana uses comedy and creativity to fight cancer. Diagnosed in 2006, the 34-year-old New York City actor and playwright felt it was her mission to let people see a younger face of breast cancer.
